Preparing For Baby

Third Trimester Checklist

I love how pregnancy is organized. I think it’s my favorite part because let’s face it, pregnancy is pretty awful besides that. You have your trimesters, months, and weeks all organized into a neat little box every other part is just a mess.

Sidenote here: I love how the pregnancy app Pregnancy has it laid out. (Here you can find where I talk about my favorite pregnancy app) A one glance option to see where you are in your pregnancy like so…

There are a few annoying things–like why does it start with 0? and if you are going to add five weeks in a month, then skip months like have it for months 2, 4, 6, & 8. Without the zero that would work perfectly. But these are minor things that only picky organizational people like me care about.

My point is, I love knowing exactly which week, month, and trimester I am. This made it really easy for me to create little checklists each trimester and know when I truly needed to have everything crossed off with not just an arbitrary date to have things crossed off, but a baby at the end of the finish line to keep you on track.

This was on my list…

And now here I am 37 weeks along and I thought I’d do a little update about where I am on that list: What I’ve done, What I haven’t done, and what I’m probably not going to complete before little mister is here.

According to this, I actually don’t have much left to do but I still feel so unprepared. The missing baby items is what stresses me out the most and it’s only ONE thing which I was going to buy but then someone offered to get it for me. And I am grateful but also, just twiddling my thumbs waiting for it.

Is there anything that’s still on your list to do?
